About the Role

Universal Motors Agencies is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, which supports strategic decision-making processes within the company. The Accountant will manage financial records, prepare reports, and assist in budget planning, collaborating with various departments to align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, utilizing advanced accounting software.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, analyzing variances and providing insights to management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
• Support the annual budgeting process by gathering necessary data and providing analytical insights for strategic financial planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
• Monitor compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring legal obligations are met and tax liabilities are optimized.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial risks.
• Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support various business initiatives, using data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Proficiency in using accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and financial forecasting.
• Understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and tax compliance.

Work Environment and Compensation
