About the Role of General Accountant

Italian Dairy Products is seeking a General Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role involves significant exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, demanding an organized approach and an analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare daily journal entries.
• Monitor production costs, raw materials consumption, and finished goods inventory.
• Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt documents.
• Reconcile inventory balances and support periodic physical stock counts.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Support cost analysis and variance reporting for cheese manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable VAT requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage monthly closing processes.
• Proficiency in forecasting and budgeting.
• Strong organizational skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
