About the Business Development Manager Role

FURSA CONTRACTING COMPANY is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position requires a professional with a proven track record in developing business within Aramco projects, managing vendor registrations, and identifying tendering and subcontracting opportunities. The role is suited for individuals with 5 to 18 years of experience in business development, particularly within the Saudi Arabian industrial and construction sectors. The salary range for this position is $2,000 - $3,000.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for a range of activities focused on expanding the company's business portfolio. This includes:

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities with Aramco, its contractors, and other industrial clients.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with procurement teams, project managers, and key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Monitoring market intelligence to identify upcoming tenders, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other project opportunities.
  • Managing the vendor registration process and ensuring compliance with prequalification requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting comprehensive commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Promoting FURSA CONTRACTING COMPANY's services in contracting, manpower supply, maintenance, and construction.
  • Negotiating contracts and commercial agreements with clients.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintaining an active pipeline of potential projects and providing regular business development reports.
  • Representing the company at industry events, meetings, and networking functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the Saudi Arabian construction, industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience with Aramco projects and major Aramco contractors.
  • A strong understanding of vendor registration, tendering, bidding, and procurement processes.
  • An established network of contacts within EPC contractors, procurement departments, and project management teams.

Required Skills and Attributes

Successful candidates will exhibit a strong set of professional skills, including:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
  • A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
  • Candidates must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
