About the Business Development Manager Role
Structural is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team in the Eastern Province, specifically in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on developing new and strengthening existing client relationships within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing Structural's specialty contracting services and technology-driven solutions to the Industrial market. The role involves managing sales processes for high-value projects and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions for complex infrastructure challenges.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Performing sales functions for high-value projects within the Industrial market segments, including oil & gas, refining, manufacturing, power, ports, and water/wastewater.
- Managing the sales process for projects typically ranging from SAR 100,000 up to SAR 50,000,000, and supporting the pre-construction team on projects of any size.
- Fostering existing client relationships and developing new ones to achieve financial objectives.
- Presenting Structural's Infrastructure Maintenance solutions to potential clients and following up on feedback with relevant internal teams.
- Actively participating in industry events and trade shows.
- Engaging with current, assigned, and potential clients through various communication channels, including web-based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Following up on project and client leads provided by the Inside Sales team.
- Assisting with the drafting and revision of proposals for Industrial Infrastructure Maintenance projects.
- Assisting with the assembly of bid packages for Strengthening projects as required.
- Attending jobsite walks and pre-bid meetings.
- Participating in project review calls and maintaining an up-to-date CRM database (Salesforce) for Industrial projects.
- Updating company contact databases with new contacts acquired through various professional interactions.
- Collaborating with Structural Group's marketing resources to develop databases and target key contacts.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree may be preferred.
- 7+ years of sales experience, with a focus on building relationships and expanding client bases in the industrial market.
- Preferably 5 years of experience selling specialty construction services or products/services to end-users within the KSA Industrial market.
- Strong knowledge of the KSA Industrial client base, including market segments such as oil & gas, refining, manufacturing, power, ports, and water/wastewater.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/quotas, utilizing a CRM system.
- A strong understanding of the sales process for promoting and implementing engineered services and products through complex and extended sales cycles, typically for existing structures.
- The ability to learn and communicate information on engineered products, their functions, applicability, and standards, along with an understanding of proposal development.

Work Environment and Travel
This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. Travel within the Saudi Arabia region is expected, approximately 80% of the time, covering both the east and west coasts.
