Cost Control Incharge

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Cost Control - Incharge to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in cost control within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly for EPC and Shutdown & Turnaround (SD/TA) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial plans.
• Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts for SD/TA projects.
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and conduct variance analysis.
• Measure project progress and evaluate cost performance.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor costs, including manpower, equipment, materials, and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 12 years of total experience in Cost Control or Cost Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience is required, with a strong background in Oil & Gas projects.
• Demonstrated contractor-side experience, specifically in Shutdown / Turnaround (SD/TA) projects, is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical shutdown/turnaround projects within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery environments.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of cost monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, progress measurement, and variance analysis for SD/TA projects.
• Additional certification in Cost Control, Project Controls, or Quantity Surveying is an advantage.

Compensation

The basic salary for this position ranges from SAR 8,000 to SAR 14,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
