About the Role

Mammoet is seeking an Engineer II to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position involves developing and delivering engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in providing engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, including method statements, drawings, calculations, and risk assessments.
• Independently select and verify engineering methods and equipment for safe and efficient project execution.
• Support project execution by overseeing engineering plans and adapting solutions to changing conditions or requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to other engineers.
• Advise Operations, Sales, and Project Management on engineering feasibility, risks, and technical trade-offs.
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, compliant with international standards, and properly maintained.
• Conduct route surveys and prepare detailed reports for heavy transport and logistics operations.
• Engage in both conventional and innovative engineering methodologies.
• Develop drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, and risk assessments.
• Ensure efficient project execution that meets customer requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
• Resilience and effectiveness in managing changing priorities.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, with exposure to advanced and complex engineering solutions in the heavy lifting industry.
• Professional-level experience in engineering operation practices, systems, HLT equipment (Cranes, transport equipment, alternative equipment devices), and internal codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling, detailing, and drafting.
