Engineer Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) (TAM / Asset Performance & Integrity)

About the Role

Marafiq is seeking an Engineer Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role focuses on providing RCM methodology guidance and support to business units to enhance reliability and optimize costs. The Engineer will act as a facilitator for the reliability-centered maintenance management system, contributing to the technical efficiency, operational effectiveness, and performance of the plant, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate the introduction and execution of the RCM Methodology in close collaboration with Operations & Maintenance and Technical Services Departments.
• Maintain accurate progress and performance data related to efficiency KPIs and implementation programs, and present these to management.
• Participate in reliability improvement projects and implementations, conducting RCM methodology studies.
• Establish and develop training and awareness programs with line management to foster a reliability culture within Marafiq.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Review reports, notifications, and work orders from SAP, assessing equipment failure history to estimate Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Update Reliability and Asset Management maintenance records, safeguard operations manuals, work orders, and notifications, and make appropriate data entries into the SAP system.
• Monitor the financial performance of activities against budgets to identify and rectify unsatisfactory performance and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Recommend improvements to departmental procedures to ensure compliance with relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality, cost-effective service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.
• Establish maintenance strategies (time-based, condition-based, and run-to-fail) for all assets using RCM.
• Facilitate Performance Review Meetings (PRM).
• Conduct RCM effectiveness studies and provide recommendations for continuous improvements using the RCM tracking system.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance or a similar field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern region. The role involves working closely with various business units and departments to implement and maintain reliability initiatives.
