About the Role

Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced Lead Estimation Engineer to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is central to our operations within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry, focusing on leading estimation activities and ensuring competitive and profitable project execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost assessments and supporting project proposals and bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and EPC projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and comprehensive pricing analysis.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to gather all required inputs.
• Analyze project requirements, identify potential risks, and assess their cost impacts.
• Prepare commercial and technical bid submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Develop and implement cost estimation strategies, continuously improving existing estimation processes.
• Maintain estimation databases, cost references, and historical project data for future use.
• Provide essential support during tender negotiations and throughout the project handover phase.

Qualifications and Experience

• A strong background in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry.
