Role Summary

KBR STS is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (Support Service) to manage the day-to-day activities of its critical Support Service divisions. This full-time position is based in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing both planned and unplanned equipment repairs to ensure operational efficiency and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead overall department functions, providing direction, evaluation, and coordination to ensure project tasks are completed within set timelines and in accordance with organizational policies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and priorities for the department.
• Prepare, optimize, and track the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for equipment, aiming to minimize breakdowns through effective monitoring and scheduling maintenance programs to ensure operational availability.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the Support Service divisions, including the welding & fabrication shop, scaffolding & insulation workshop, and heavy lift & rigging division, as well as overseeing planned or unplanned equipment repairs.
• Manage resources, equipment, and machinery deployment to the site for routine and emergency situations.
• Review work plans and job request priorities to allocate resources, monitor workflow, Methods of Operation (MOS), and procedures; meet with the team to identify gaps and resolve problems.
• Review weekly plans and provide feedback to the Planning team to achieve schedule compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external workshops, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) dealers for repairs, parts, and any issues.

Safety and Performance Management

• Manage and lead efforts to ensure all equipment and workshop facilities are maintained and meet Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage, recommend, and schedule employee safety and technical trainings.
• Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance performance reports, time sheets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics.
• Respond promptly in case of emergency and ensure accurate reporting of any incidents, accidents, or violations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance management, specifically within support service divisions.

Work Location

This role is based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, supporting KBR's operations in the Eastern Province.
