Role Overview

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position involves conducting safety inspections of equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure the safety of personnel operating within Oil & Gas Facilities. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure worker safety in Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Examine safety belts, ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools, replacing items that do not meet safety standards.
• Observe work crews and report any non-compliance with safety precautions, such as the failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, or other safety devices.
• Assess the condition of ditches and tunnels, recommending the use of braces to prevent cave-ins that could endanger workers.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
• Provide instruction to workers on the proper use of safety equipment and safe work methods.
• Ensure adherence to all established safety procedures.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work activities.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within Oil & Gas Facilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role involves working directly within Oil & Gas Facilities, requiring a strong focus on safety compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
