About FAHSS WLL and the Role

FAHSS WLL Co. Ltd., an affiliate of TASNEE, was established in the 1980s and brings over 30 years of experience in the technical industry. The company is a leading service provider in Inspection, Certification, Auditing, HSE Advisory, Product Certification (International Trade Services), Metrology & Calibration, Food Laboratory Testing, and Training & Technical Support. We are seeking a Section Head, IIS KSA Sales for a full-time position based in Al Jubail, reporting directly to the Manager, KSA Industrial Inspection SRV.

Role Overview

This role involves providing project management leadership, utilizing applicable procedures to maintain strong client relationships. The Section Head is accountable for the safe and effective delivery of contracts and services, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, specifications, timescales, and costs. This position requires a proactive approach to both project execution and sales development within the KSA market.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage single complex projects and a portfolio of projects with a value exceeding 500k SAR, ensuring they meet defined criteria requiring project oversight.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Assistant and Project Managers, evaluating team effectiveness and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee all aspects of project performance, service delivery, and safety management systems through effective planning, budget, time, and quality controls.
  • Manage the bid and tender development processes for individual and project management team contracts.
  • Identify, source, and coordinate effective full-time and part-time resources for assigned projects in line with contractual and budgetary agreements.
  • Ensure effective project delivery by managing complex issues and opportunities arising with the client and their organization.
  • Provide visible, proactive HS&E leadership, ensuring compliance with all corporate and local HS&E policies, processes, and client-specific requirements.
  • Plan all aspects of contract compliance and management, including change control and contract variations, while actively seeking to develop opportunities with clients.
  • Manage and oversee project schedules, financial tracking, contract risk management procedures, and associated project documentation, supporting compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and support debtor management in cooperation with the credit control function.
  • Conduct regular project and contract reviews, reporting project status internally and externally, and managing formal project close-outs.
  • Coordinate both technical and related project-specific administrative tasks.
  • Support the finance department in the collection of outstanding debts.

Sales and Business Development

  • Determine annual plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, project sales targets, and revenue for existing and new products.
  • Develop a client-focused sales team that actively seeks new work and expands existing relationships.
  • Act as a client representative within the company, challenging internal processes and services to improve market offerings.
  • Review analyses of internal and external trends and results; finalize pricing strategies and selling prices in line with management approval; advise and act on monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales team to ensure high professional standards and achievement of monthly sales and KPI targets.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecast projected business; establish targeted market share.
  • Manage and implement Key Account Management (KAM) & Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Sustain rapport with key accounts through periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
  • Support marketing in developing advertisements, promotions, and sales materials.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for the sales team as they generate leads and close new deals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the technical industry, with a focus on sales, project management, or related services.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams and complex projects.
  • Proven track record in bid and tender development, contract management, and client relationship maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a project context.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and achieving targets.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all legislation, shareholder, and ethical requirements for self and team.
  • Establish a clear process flow within the sales department, with standardized documents, clear rules, accountability, and measurable KPIs.
  • Deliver KPIs and targets through effective people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
  • Maintain up-to-date job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and engaging in professional networks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
