Job Description

About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail (AMTPJ) is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategy Project Management to join its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This full-time role is based in Al Khobar or Al Jubail and is responsible for managing portfolio-level governance for AMTPJ’s strategic and transformation initiatives. The Senior Analyst will ensure the integrity of portfolio reporting to executive management and operate the company management system's routines and KPI cadence.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Analyst acts as a center of excellence for portfolio governance methods, quality-controlling the work of the Analyst. This role involves challenging initiative owners on status, risk, and execution readiness, without carrying direct delivery accountability for individual initiatives. The position is critical in maintaining a consolidated, accurate view of strategic and transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain portfolio-level tracking for approved strategic and transformation initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Design and produce executive dashboards, steering committee materials, and decision-ready status packs for senior management.
  • Operate the company management system cadence, including meeting routines, KPI selection and cascade, action logs, and follow-up with top and middle management.
  • Challenge initiative owners constructively on milestone credibility, dependency risk, and execution readiness, escalating material deviations to the Senior Manager.
  • Maintain and improve EPMO standards, templates, and tools, coaching initiative owners and the Analyst on their consistent application.
  • Quality-control portfolio data, reporting, and deliverables produced by the Analyst.
  • Support Stage-Gate and Front-End Loading governance for capital initiatives within the portfolio.
  • Support the 10-year planning and annual budgeting process by aligning portfolio milestones and resource assumptions.
  • Prepare analysis on portfolio-level trends, delivery bottlenecks, and benefits realization to inform management decisions.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Certification in project or portfolio management (*, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or AACE certification) is preferred.

Required Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, with specific routes preferred:

    • Consulting route: 3 to 4 years in a strategy, transformation, or capital projects advisory firm, including at least 2 years at Associate or Consultant level.
    • Corporate PMO route: 5 to 7 years in an enterprise, corporate, or transformation PMO, with at least 3 years at portfolio or program level.
    • Capital projects route: 7 to 9 years in project controls, planning, or PMO within an owner’s team or EPC contractor, with at least 3 years at portfolio or program level.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other capital-intensive sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing materials for, and presenting into, executive or steering committee forums.
