Technical Security Support Supervisor

About the Role

Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) is seeking a Technical Security Support Supervisor to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing various security operations, including the ID & Sticker Unit, Security Specialist, Technical Specialist, and Control Center. The supervisor will also lead inspection tours to ensure compliance with security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to direct reports in their roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct performance appraisals, identify competency gaps, and ensure the acquisition of required managerial or functional knowledge.
• Ensure staff performance and conduct align with SATORP’s policies and procedures.
• Optimize resource utilization for assigned responsibilities, ensuring timely completion to set standards.
• Ensure all security equipment, including cameras, CCTV, and card readers, are in good operating condition.
• Assist in monitoring access to SATORP Refinery, verifying visitor authorization, and approving entry permits.
• Support spot checks and scheduled training drills to assess shift personnel's response capabilities for incidents and emergencies.
• Review periodic performance reports to ensure effective implementation of SATORP’s strategies and operational priorities, identifying and proposing improvement actions.
• Conduct security audits to identify potential problems and hazards related to physical security, staff safety, and asset protection.
• Inspect security design features, installations, and programs for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of security plans, policies, programs, technical services, and operating instructions.
• Ensure security policies, programs, and practices are implemented and adhered to by relevant personnel.
• Ensure adequate and timely maintenance of security systems.
• Review specifications for the design or construction of security systems, ensuring plans and programs are carried out effectively and in accordance with Company security guidelines.
• Develop and administer Security training programs, covering general security procedures and concepts of sophisticated security equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Industrial Security Technical Support Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in technical security support and supervision. The position requires a strong understanding of security equipment, systems, and operational protocols within an industrial environment.

Leadership and Management

The supervisor will be responsible for leading a team, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to company policies. This includes optimizing resource allocation and fostering a compliant and efficient security operation.

Security Systems and Compliance

A key aspect of this role involves ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of all security equipment, including CCTV and access control systems. The supervisor will conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established security standards and regulations, contributing to the overall security framework of SATORP.
