About the Role

Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join its Finance team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position requiring a professional with a strong background in accounting principles and systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounting Supervisor will oversee and manage various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing General Ledger operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Overseeing Accounts Payable functions, such as invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, payment cycles, and withholding tax.
• Supervising Accounts Receivable activities, including collections, credit control, customer reconciliation, and aging analysis.
• Facilitating ERP implementation, including data migration, user training, and go-live support.
• Collaborating with external auditors, preparing audit schedules, and resolving audit queries.
• Ensuring accurate financial reporting and performing bank reconciliations.
• Managing intercompany transactions and ensuring compliance with IFRS and Saudi GAAP standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Between 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or senior General Ledger (GL) role.
• Proven experience in ERP implementation, including data migration, user training, and go-live support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, IFRS standards, and Saudi GAAP requirements.

Key Skills and Understanding

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of:

• General Ledger operations and closing procedures.
• Accounts Payable processes, including vendor management and tax implications.
• Accounts Receivable functions, focusing on collections and credit control.
• Working effectively with external auditors.
• Financial reporting frameworks and accounting standards.
