Assistant operator

About the Role

Halliburton is seeking an Assistant Operator to join our team in Al Qatif or Al Khobar. This is an entry-level, full-time position within the Service Operator job family, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves learning fundamental safety and repair procedures for Hydrolic Workover (HWO) Product Service Line (PSL) equipment and assisting with various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn basic safety and repair procedures for Hydrolic Workover (HWO) Product Service Line (PSL) equipment under strict supervision, utilizing the I Learn competency process.
• Acquire basic operational skills, including performing pre/post-job HWO equipment inspections, executing preventative maintenance procedures, and maintaining support equipment such as pumps, tongs, and flowback lines.
• Complete essential math and safety training as defined by iLearn's career development system.
• Assist with the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for job assignments.
• Provide support during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the wellsite as needed.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Actively participate in quality improvement processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Skills are acquired by completing the career development requirements within iLearn's competency management system for Operator Assistant I.
• Successful completion of company tests and fulfillment of competency Task Lists requirements are mandatory.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Licensure to drive commercial vehicles may be required for land operations.
