About the Commis Chef Role

This full-time position for a Commis Chef (Saudi National) is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. The role focuses on contributing to the consistent preparation of high-quality food products and ensuring efficient, professional service aligned with operating concepts and international standards.

Core Responsibilities

The Commis Chef is responsible for executing culinary tasks to maintain a high standard of food quality. This includes preparing ingredients, assisting senior chefs, and ensuring that all dishes meet the required specifications. The role also involves contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Duties in Food Preparation

  • Prepare a consistent, high-quality food product.
  • Assist in the execution of various culinary tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.

Service Standards and Professionalism

Ensuring courteous, professional, and efficient service is a key aspect of this role. The Commis Chef will support the outlet's operating concept and adhere to established international standards. This involves working collaboratively with the team to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Commis Chef, or 2 years as an Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
  • Possession of basic culinary skills.
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices.
