About the Role

Canon EMEA is seeking a Credit Control Specialist to join their team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for Saudi Nationals only, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring efficient collection processes to support the Credit Control Manager in achieving collection objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all credit control operations within Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, encompassing credit control, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Maintain frequent contact with customers regarding their accounts, including follow-up on payments, statements, reminders, and dunning letters.
  • Perform data entry of receipts into the ERP system.
  • Reconcile customer accounts.
  • Reconcile customer balances and the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Coordinate the distribution of invoices and statements to customers.
  • Coordinate the collection of payments from customers by the Collector.

Reporting and General Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts receivable status reports for the Credit Controller.
  • Prepare other ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by the Credit Control Manager or Financial Controller.
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the ERP system and its capabilities to automate workload.
