About the Role

Vrinda Global is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing the execution and supervision of 380kV substation projects and associated electrical and civil works, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, SEC standards, safety protocols, quality requirements, and approved schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily site execution of 380kV BSP/substation projects.
  • Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) representatives.
  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, including manpower, material availability, and overall site resources.
  • Oversee timely inspection, testing, documentation, and closure of all site activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues as they arise.
  • Maintain continuous compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), and SEC requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (***** in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant project execution experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in 380kV BSP/substation projects is essential.
  • SEC approval is mandatory for this role.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of SEC standards and high voltage substation construction practices.
  • Proficiency in project execution, site coordination, and subcontractor management.
  • Competence in quality and safety management systems.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, particularly with SEC, consultants, and contractors.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural and challenging work environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, focusing on critical infrastructure projects within the Eastern region. The role requires active site presence and coordination with various internal and external parties.
