About the Enterprise Architect Role

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a contract position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This role is crucial for leading the design and ongoing development of enterprise-wide technology architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Document current-state and target-state enterprise architecture across Business, Application, Data, and Technology domains.
• Establish and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Create and manage architecture artifacts, including diagrams, models, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Develop and manage enterprise technology roadmaps to support business growth and digital transformation.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout solution design and project implementation phases.
• Review and evaluate proposed technologies and solutions for alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, impact assessments, and gap analyses for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT leadership to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, modernization, and standardization of enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture governance, security standards, and organizational policies.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to support long-term business strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized and accredited university.
• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or a related IT architecture role.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect (ZCEA), Certified IT Architect (CITA), or equivalent are preferred.

Technical and Soft Skills

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, governance models, and technology roadmaps.
• Demonstrated experience with business, application, data, and technology architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, infrastructure, integration technologies, and information security principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
