About the Chief Enterprise Architect Role

Nozom is seeking an experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives and support strategic digital transformation programs within a government or semi-government environment in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Enterprise Architect will be responsible for aligning enterprise architecture with organizational strategy and Vision 2030 objectives. This includes developing Architecture Principles and Architecture Governance Frameworks, and contributing to Target Architecture development and strategic roadmaps. The role involves developing and maintaining various architectural domains: Business Architecture (Capabilities/Value Streams), Application Architecture (Portfolio/Lifecycle), Data Architecture (Flows/Governance), and Technology Architecture. Maintaining the Enterprise Architecture Repository (EA Repository) is also a key duty.

Furthermore, the position requires conducting Gap Analysis activities to identify opportunities for digital transformation, operational efficiency improvement, and cost optimization. The architect will apply Enterprise Architecture Governance Frameworks, participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities and project reviews, and ensure compliance with NORA, DGA standards, and NCA Cybersecurity requirements. Stakeholder management is crucial, involving leading workshops, translating business needs into architecture requirements and solution concepts, preparing reports on portfolio rationalization and technology standardization, and supporting digital investment and strategic technology decisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven experience working within government or semi-government sectors.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.

Professional Certifications and Methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification.
• Hands-on experience with the NORA Enterprise Architecture methodology.
• Familiarity and experience with Enterprise Architecture tools and repositories.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh. The position involves significant interaction with various stakeholders and requires the ability to lead discussions and translate complex technical concepts into understandable business requirements.
