About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing assigned food and beverage and culinary operations, focusing on guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining standards and achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities in Food and Beverage Operations

• Cultivate a property environment that promotes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a commitment to service excellence.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees.
• Respond promptly and proactively to employee concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills across the property to develop staff.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in daily operations.
• Motivate and encourage staff to resolve guest and employee-related issues effectively.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service to all guests.
• Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the brand's service culture.
• Set clear service expectations for all guests, both internal and external.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Follow up to ensure complaints have been resolved to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests to foster repeat clientele.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in food and beverage or culinary operations. The position requires a professional who can effectively manage operations, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to financial goals.
