Head of Internal Audit

About the Role

Aramco Stadium is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is responsible for establishing internal audit guidelines, overseeing audit planning and execution, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Head of Internal Audit will provide risk-based assurance to protect organizational integrity and drive operational improvement across the company.

Purpose of the Position

The Head of Internal Audit leads the internal audit function, focusing on maintaining organizational integrity and enhancing operational efficiency. This involves developing and implementing a robust audit strategy to identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement in governance and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit strategy and annual plan.
• Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits across all functions.
• Evaluate control effectiveness and identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies.
• Audit third-party and outsourced operations for compliance and performance.
• Oversee fraud risk assessments and investigations, where required.
• Ensure alignment with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Track and report on the implementation of audit findings and corrective actions.
• Prepare and present audit reports and key risk insights to senior management and the Board/Audit Committee.
• Drive continuous improvement in controls, processes, and risk management practices.
• Lead and develop the internal audit team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern region. The role involves working within Aramco Stadium's operational framework, collaborating with various departments and reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee.
