The Career Nest is partnering with a well-regarded casual dining establishment in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, known for its French Riviera-inspired cuisine and warm hospitality. This full-time position for a Junior Sous Chef is crucial for maintaining high culinary standards and supporting kitchen operations.

Role Overview

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will provide essential support to the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen activities. This role requires a blend of technical culinary expertise and emerging leadership capabilities, focusing on overseeing food preparation, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and stepping in to manage the line during peak service times.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent precision, quality, and adherence to recipes across all kitchen sections during every service period.
• Provide motivation, training, and support to the kitchen team, leading by example and taking command of kitchen operations as needed.
• Strictly enforce food safety and hygiene protocols across all workstations, maintaining a compliant and clean working environment at all times.
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and overall kitchen workflow, adapting seamlessly to the varying demands of busy services.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen sections and lead a team.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Proven capability to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.

Compensation

The salary for this position is 8,000 SAR per month.
