About OOMCO KSA and the Role

OOMCO KSA is seeking a Logistic Executive to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position is central to planning, scheduling, supervising, and monitoring fuel delivery transportation operations to all OOMCO customers across the country. The role ensures strict compliance with OOMCO’s HSEQ and logistics processes and procedures, enabling business units to achieve their operational targets efficiently and safely.

Role Overview and Operational Context

The Logistic Executive operates within a dynamic environment where effective fleet management and availability are crucial for meeting customer demands and ensuring quality delivery. The role involves navigating potential logistical challenges, such as fuel shortages or extreme weather conditions. Given that the products distributed are flammable and carry a high risk of explosion, stringent compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards is paramount. This position requires robust crisis and emergency management capabilities to mitigate inherent risks.

Key Responsibilities - Operations Management

• Receive daily fuel orders from customers, place orders with suppliers, and dispatch them to transporters for delivery.
• Supervise, plan, and monitor daily logistic operations through approved processes and workflows, aligning with all stakeholders to deliver highly efficient service.
• Audit all logistic financial transactions related to customer and carrier billing, ensuring compliance with company policy and contractual obligations to prevent revenue loss or cost increases.
• Monitor set budgets and plans, controlling OPEX expenditure for logistic operations, and identifying potential savings to achieve cost optimization.
• Continuously review, improve, and align logistic operation processes to achieve industry best practices and maintain logistics costs within the minimum range.
• Supervise transporter performance and daily job execution, ensuring timely plan adherence.
• Conduct quarterly meetings with transporters in the area, defining actions, points of improvement, and setting deadlines.
• Arrange meetings with business units to ensure agreed service levels are delivered.
• Report and supervise transporter performance according to agreed criteria and enhance performance based on set rules and standards.
• Review and process monthly/weekly transporter invoices for payment to avoid delays.
• Manage relations with all transporters and ARAMCO to ensure optimal service and support.
• Handle ARAMCO quota planning and contracting, ensuring contract renewals prior to expiry and registration of all stations in the Aramco system.

Key Responsibilities - Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environment, and quality management procedures and controls to meet legislative requirements, ensure employee safety, and deliver high-quality services.
• Attend all emergency cases/situations, initiate and report investigation outcomes, and ensure clear, timely updates are communicated to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Meet departmental HSEQ KPIs, reporting scores and deadlines, and monitor and maintain the annual HSEQ plan in a timely manner.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Logistic Executive position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation operations, ideally within the fuel or hazardous materials sector.
