Migration Lead Oracle FLEXCUBE

About the Role

Unison Group is seeking an experienced Migration Lead with strong expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE * Core Banking and banking application/data migration. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and involves leading migration activities for core banking transformation projects.

Role Overview

The Migration Lead will be responsible for overseeing data mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover processes. The role requires a strong technical background in Oracle PL/SQL and Java, combined with functional knowledge of FLEXCUBE Core modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data and application migration activities for Oracle FLEXCUBE * Core Banking.
• Develop and manage the overall migration strategy, approach, plan, timelines, and deliverables.
• Analyze legacy and target systems to define data mapping, transformation, and migration rules.
• Collaborate with business, functional, technical, DBA, and testing teams to ensure successful migration.
• Develop and review Oracle PL/SQL scripts, queries, procedures, and data transformation logic.
• Support extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading of customer, account, transaction, and reference data.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and migration quality checks before and after migration.
• Handle migration requirements across CASA, IC, EoD, GL, OBPM, and OBBRN modules/interfaces.
• Work with FLEXCUBE * Core and understand its underlying data structures and integration points.
• Utilize Java for migration utilities, interfaces, data-processing components, or related technical requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, preferably in banking or core banking projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE * Core Banking.
• Proven experience as a Migration Lead or Migration Consultant in banking or core banking transformation projects.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills, including complex queries, procedures, functions, packages, and data validation.
• Good Java development/support experience.
• Strong understanding of FLEXCUBE database structures and migration processes.
• Experience in data extraction, transformation, cleansing, loading, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL/database troubleshooting and analytical skills.
