About the Role

Saipem is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Treatment Process Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to support project execution, particularly during the engineering phase.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Process Engineer will work closely with the Project Process Lead to execute project activities. Key responsibilities include preparing for and participating in client meetings, confidently authoring reports and technical documentation, and producing essential process deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment data sheets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and cooperate with the Project Process Lead in project execution, with a focus on the engineering phase.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in client meetings.
  • Author technical reports and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Develop standard process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment data sheets.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry is required. The role demands good knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas Treatment process units, specifically in design development for crude separation/stabilization and gas dehydration/compression.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications and the Office365 suite.
  • Advanced skills in commercial process simulators such as Hysis and Unisim.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A strong aptitude for collaboration with colleagues, utilizing IT and digital tools.
  • Availability for business trips and missions.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. The role may require availability for business trips.
