About the Senior Ecommerce Marketing Specialist Role

Al-Dawaa Pharmacies is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to lead advanced e-commerce initiatives and drive performance across all online channels. This full-time position, based in Al Khobar, requires 2-5 years of experience and involves managing complex campaigns, overseeing junior team members, and providing strategic guidance to enhance customer acquisition, conversion rates, and overall revenue. The role acts as a key link between tactical execution and strategic direction within the e-commerce team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic e-commerce campaigns focused on increasing customer acquisition, sales, and brand visibility, utilizing tactics such as gamification, seasonal promotions, and bundle offers tailored to segmented audiences.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless campaign asset rollout and leverage performance insights for continuous improvement.
  • Optimize website and app user journeys in collaboration with design and product teams, focusing on enhancing usability across homepage, category pages, product detail pages, and checkout processes.
  • Implement and maintain detailed customer segmentation models based on behavior, demographics, and transaction history to drive tailored campaign content and hyper-targeted personalization through CRM integration.
  • Coordinate omnichannel campaigns across WhatsApp, email, app, and web to ensure a unified customer experience, utilizing WhatsApp for interactive marketing and restock alerts.
  • Plan digital promotions with the merchandising team, prioritizing high-demand SKUs and guiding product bundling, cross-selling, and upselling efforts.
  • Lead campaign analysis to track sales, engagement, conversion, and ROI, providing detailed dashboards and managing paid channel budgets based on real-time performance.
  • Refine loyalty initiatives to incentivize repeat purchases and build community, planning multi-channel communications and utilizing personalization to maximize member participation.
  • Manage and optimize online engagement tools, including push notifications, pop-ups, and in-app messages, testing various triggers to improve retention and conversion rates.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce marketing, digital campaign management, or online retail.
  • Proven track record of driving traffic and sales through online campaigns.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, or similar eCommerce insight platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Emarsys, including campaign setup, audience segmentation, automation workflows, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with retail, health & wellness, or omnichannel businesses is preferred.

Collaboration and Interaction

This role requires close collaboration with various internal teams, including IT & Dev Teams for website enhancements and tracking implementation, Merchandising for product prioritization and pricing integration, Customer Service for messaging alignment and issue resolution, and Digital Commerce, Omnichannel & CRM teams for unified customer experiences. Interaction with Category Teams is also expected.
