About the Role
Airbus ** is seeking a Process Performance Engineer II to join our team in Al Qatif. This full-time, 100% onsite position is crucial for providing technical assistance to Production teams. The primary objective is to optimize industrial processes while strictly observing safety, cost, quality, and lead-time criteria. The successful candidate will be a driving force in implementing appropriate solutions across methods, processes, and organization to meet company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize process time for series production, including producing PERT/GANTT diagrams and developing Program Evaluation Review Techniques diagrams to identify task dependencies.
- Perform line balancing for each MSN and define critical paths.
- Analyze industrial capacities and calculate workforce and resource requirements.
- Build scenarios to simulate different station/line configurations.
- Contribute to the definition of industrial architecture and study and optimize workflows.
- Assist in determining ideal work process lengths by conducting and drafting time observations.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, identifying deviations and optimizing processes and stations.
- Perform Value Add / Non-Value Add (VA/NVA) analyses.
- Detect and analyze misalignments in work orders and update work packages within and across stations.
- Process improvement proposals and align Airbus Operating System (AOS) focus areas to established plans.
- Lead training and onboarding efforts for new team members.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the build process for multiple Business Units and as the primary focal for special projects for the ME PPE team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by HO PPE.

Required Experience
Candidates for the Process Performance Engineer II position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements
- Vision: Ability to see and read computer screens, electronic equipment, documents, reports, and engineering drawings daily.
- Hearing: Ability to participate in conversations in person, via teleconference or phone, and to hear production floor sounds, including safety warnings or alarms.
- Speaking: Ability to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information, and participate in communications.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and use electronic identification cards.
- Carrying & Lifting: Ability to carry and lift documents, tools, drawings, and electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Pushing / Pulling: Ability to push and pull small office furniture, equipment, and tools.
- Sitting: Ability to sit for long periods (roughly 70-90%) in meetings and while working on a computer.
- Squatting / Kneeling: Ability to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
- Standing: Ability to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
- Travel: Ability to travel independently and at short notice (5%).
- Walking: Ability to walk through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces (10%).
- Personal Protective Equipment: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site. Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
