Structural/Civil Draftsman

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Structural/Civil Draftsman to join a reputable Oil & Gas Company for their workshop requirements in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in the Eastern Region, covering cities such as Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, and Buqayq. The role requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, erection, assembly, and detail drawings.
• Develop accurate shop drawings and material details.
• Incorporate design revisions into existing drawings.
• Coordinate effectively with structural engineers, fabrication teams, and QA/QC teams.
• Provide technical drawing support to resolve fabrication and site queries.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in preparing detailed engineering and fabrication drawings for structural steel works.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and EPC projects is preferred.
• Educational background: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or BE Mechanical.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, and other relevant structural detailing software.
• Good knowledge of structural steel components, including warehouses, platforms, pipe racks, supports, stairs, ladders, handrails, base plates, bracing, and structural connections.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 2500 - 4500, based on experience.
