Job Description

About the Role

Hyatt Place AlUla is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the pre-opening and operational readiness of the new hotel. This role is part of Hyatt's expansion and will contribute to the hotel's operations, which include 214 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, serving both leisure and business travelers. The Assistant Front Office Manager will work closely with the Front Office Manager to oversee daily front office activities and ensure high standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the comprehensive pre-opening setup of the front office, including system implementation and team preparation.
  • Supervise daily front office operations, covering reception, guest services, and the night audit process.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for guests during arrival and departure.
  • Manage guest feedback, handle service recovery situations, and oversee escalation procedures.
  • Support departmental administration, including scheduling and payroll management.
  • Train, coach, and motivate front office colleagues to achieve operational excellence and deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in hotel operations, in roles such as Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Supervisor.
  • Demonstrated strong guest service skills and a proven ability to resolve guest issues effectively.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.
