We are seeking an experienced and adaptable MYP Mathematics and Science Teacher to teach across the IB Middle Years Programme in a multigrade classroom context. This pivotal role requires confidence teaching mathematics and various science disciplines, with a strong ability to differentiate learning for a diverse and evolving student population.

The Role:
  • Teach IB MYP Mathematics and Science in multigrade classes, ensuring appropriate challenge and progression for all learners.
  • Plan coherent, engaging units that integrate the IB framework with Common Core Standards (Mathematics) and Next Generation Science Standards (Science).
  • Design learning that prioritizes growth, engagement, and conceptual understanding over coverage alone.
  • Make learning authentic and context-driven, emphasizing sustainability, marine science, and conservation.
  • Deliver practical, inquiry-based science learning and safely manage laboratory activities.
  • Use technology and digital platforms effectively to enhance learning.
  • Act as a tutor, supporting student wellbeing and bridging communication between school and families.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure strong progression in Mathematics and Science.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school in a startup environment.
