About the Opportunity

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Spine Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary team. In this full-time position, the successful candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of spinal disorders affecting both adult and pediatric patients. This role requires exceptional clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of spinal conditions, including degenerative diseases, spinal deformities, trauma, tumors, infections, and congenital disorders.
  • Perform elective and emergency spinal surgical procedures using open, minimally invasive, and advanced surgical techniques.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and clinical findings to establish accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, pain specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental meetings.
  • Mentor junior physicians and contribute to medical education and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess exceptional clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Spine Surgeon is required. The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals is essential for this role.
