Outbound Supervisor Role

ASMO is seeking an Outbound Supervisor for its SPARK site in Buqayq, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of outbound warehouse and yard processes during assigned shifts. The supervisor translates operational plans into daily execution by coordinating personnel, equipment, picking, staging, loading, dispatch activities, and system transactions. Key accountabilities include order execution, shipment accuracy, productivity, safety, quality, cut-off adherence, and timely escalation of issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily outbound activities, including order release coordination, picking, packing (where applicable), staging, verification, loading, and dispatch confirmation.
• Allocate labor, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), staging space, and work priorities based on order urgency, transport schedules, cut-off times, and available capacity.
• Ensure correct material, quantity, condition, and documentation are prepared and shipped against approved customer orders.
• Control outbound exceptions such as shortages, holds, damaged material, picking discrepancies, loading issues, and transport delays, escalating promptly.
• Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions are completed accurately and on time, aligning physical material movement with system status.
• Coordinate with inventory, inbound, yard, transport, planning, and customer service teams to resolve constraints and protect delivery commitments.
• Monitor outbound productivity, picking accuracy, staging backlog, loading performance, truck turnaround, and on-time dispatch.
• Lead shift start-up, floor control, operational problem-solving, and shift handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• A high school diploma, technical diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent practical background is acceptable. A bachelor’s or master’s degree is not mandatory.
• Candidates without a degree may be considered with at least 10 years of relevant, progressive, and verifiable warehouse or logistics experience, including substantial frontline leadership responsibility.
• 7–10 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial operations experience, with a minimum of 3 years leading or supervising frontline operational teams, is preferred.
• Operational competence, safety leadership, WMS capability, people supervision, inventory discipline, and measurable delivery results are prioritized.
• Warehouse operations, logistics, safety, MHE, WMS, Lean, or supervisory certifications are advantageous. Relevant equipment licenses are required if the role involves operating or directly controlling licensed equipment.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Proven hands-on experience supervising picking, staging, loading, dispatch, and shipment verification in warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or contract logistics operations.
• Practical experience leading frontline employees and coordinating labor, MHE, staging areas, and workload in a shift-based environment.
• Working experience with WMS or equivalent enterprise systems, including picking, loading, dispatch, and exception transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to control shipment accuracy, shortages, holds, documentation issues, safety risks, and operational backlog.
• Ability to use KPIs, daily management routines, and structured problem-solving to improve outbound performance.
