Fulfillment Center Supervisor

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is expanding its Operations team and is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor. This full-time role is based in Jeddah and involves overseeing shift management within one of Amazon's first-mile fulfillment centers, middle-mile sortation centers, or final-mile delivery stations. The Operations Specialists are integral to the daily operations, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently at every stage of the supply chain.

Role Context

This position plays a key part in maintaining the operational flow and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is dynamic and requires adaptability to various daily challenges within the logistics and supply chain environment. The supervisor will contribute to achieving operational results and supporting the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities within the work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high service standards for customers.
• Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information continuously to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to address common issues or needs in key performance areas, such as process area readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Work Environment

The Fulfillment Center Supervisor will operate within a fast-paced environment in one of Amazon's operational centers in Jeddah. This full-time position requires active involvement in ground operations, working closely with Associates and management to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
