About the Accountant Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize all disbursement documents.
• Follow up on revenue collection and ensure proper documentation.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
• Record financial transactions and prepare accounting entries.
• Audit bank accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations.
• Prepare and archive reports and documents related to expenses and revenues.
• Audit financial claims, verifying their legal and financial completeness.
• Oversee the auditing and approval of disbursements by accredited regulatory bodies.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures against budget items based on monthly financial positions.
• Prepare monthly financial position statements and summaries.
• Prepare annual closing accounts.
• Develop and refine accounting methods and procedures.
• Stay updated on scientific and technical developments in the accounting field.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports concerning expense and revenue accounting, archiving them in the dedicated database.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in an accounting role. A foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices is required. This role is suitable for individuals beginning their accounting career.
