About the Role
Guardian Industries, a global manufacturer of glass products, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for its facility in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and improvement of electrical and control systems critical to the company's glass production lines. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and implementing effective preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for all electrical and control components.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive electrical maintenance on equipment, including magnetron sputtering systems, power supplies, PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic faults on glass furnace and glass transport mechanisms.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all electrical systems and components on the coating line.
- Support production operations by minimizing unplanned electrical downtime and ensuring maximum equipment availability.
- Monitor electrical system performance and actively participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for chronic electrical or automation failures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including electrical drawings, maintenance logs, and failure reports.
- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and process engineers to optimize equipment reliability and overall performance.
- Recommend and implement improvements in electrical design, control logic, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts for electrical components and coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities strictly comply with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within continuous process operations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and motor drives.
- Demonstrated experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control system integration (experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms is required).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
- Understanding of instrumentation, sensors, and process control systems.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to rotating shifts if required.
- Experience required for this role is between 2 to 5 years.
