Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Guardian Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time role requires a project-focused mindset to maintain safe and reliable operations, contribute to plant transformation through automation, facility upgrades, and process and safety improvements. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor engineering support to operations and maintenance to understand equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate system capabilities.
• Actively participate in fostering a safety culture where employees address unsafe conditions and behaviors, and contribute suggestions for improvements.
• Execute capital projects, including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities.
• Generate mechanical requirements and estimates for projects and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment such as conveying systems, automated stacking equipment, batching operations, and combustion furnace operations.
• Read, modify, and create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated models.
• Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant mechanical engineering role.
• Demonstrated project-focused mindset.
