The Role of Sales Executive

Abbott is seeking a Sales Executive for a full-time position in Al Qassim, specifically Buraydah. This role is within the Rapid Diagnostic Infectious Disease Division, which provides diagnostic solutions used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics globally. The information derived from these tests is critical for patient care decisions across various health conditions, including infectious diseases. The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting the full range of the Infectious Disease (ID) portfolio within their assigned territory, leveraging cross-franchise synergies, and facilitating new product launches related to COVID-19.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales quotas by managing and developing the territory through the promotion of new and existing products.
  • Conduct sales calls, focusing on high-sales areas for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement the Go-to-Market strategy in alignment with regional and global approaches, adapted to country-specific objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with target accounts using a consultative selling approach with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Assess current and planned customer needs and provide advice on the application of company products and services.
  • Collaborate with distributor sales teams to develop and execute effective local sales strategies by customer segment.
  • Support distribution partners with product sales, including training, sales meetings, technical expertise, and marketing support.
  • Provide timely forecasts, business reports, and action plans, regularly re-evaluating performance against forecasts and budget.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable demand planning and forecasting based on customer and distributor commitments.
  • Collect and maintain up-to-date market intelligence, including competitor information, pricing, tenders, and customer feedback.
  • Represent Abbott professionally, ensuring all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated drive for success and willingness to pursue challenging targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Objective-driven, solution-oriented, and capable of adhering to deadlines.
