ACCOUNTING OFFICER

About the Role

Napco National is seeking an Accounting Officer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals only and requires 0-1 years of experience in accounting. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of general accounts and supporting various financial operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and maintain the integrity of general accounts in compliance with FCA and standard accounting practices.
• Conduct checks on Cashier activities as needed for balances and verification.
• Oversee treasury activities, including accounting for money transfers, bank charges, and remittances.
• Manage accounts payable/payroll checks and take responsibility for bank deposits.
• Coordinate and process all wire transfers and telex payments, ensuring integrity before submission to the Chief General Accountant.
• Perform audits to ensure internal control procedures are implemented effectively, recommending and following up on corrective measures.
• Conduct monthly bank and affiliate reconciliations and adjust any irregularities.
• Maintain a monthly trial balance audit file to confirm the accuracy of all balances.
• Ensure proper filing and follow-up on all subsidy applications and refunds.
• Prepare the monthly fixed asset acquisition report for approval by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.
• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an accounting role is required.
• Strong understanding of standard accounting practices and financial control procedures.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within the accounting department, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
