About the Civil QA&QC Engineer Role

Algihaz Holding is seeking a Civil Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA&QC) Engineer for a full-time position in Dammam, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards across all civil site activities.

Role Overview and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to implement and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) at the project site. This involves ensuring that all civil works, materials, and workmanship meet the defined project specifications and stringent quality standards. The engineer will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and quality of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing civil scope documentation, designs, method statements, project quality plans, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Implementing and actively monitoring the Quality Management System (QMS) on-site, ensuring full compliance from all project teams and subcontractors.
• Conducting inspections of civil works and incoming materials, coordinating necessary inspections with consultants, and approving work in accordance with QMS requirements.
• Reviewing material submittals prior to client submission and closely monitoring subcontractor activities to ensure quality compliance.
• Maintaining comprehensive quality records, preparing detailed reports, updating status information within the QMS/QMTS, and supporting audits and the resolution of non-conformances.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Quality role, specifically meeting SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) requirements.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the construction or industrial sectors.
• SEC approval is mandatory for this position.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage and oversee quality assurance and control activities.
