About the Role

Bilfinger Middle East is seeking a Consultant, Management Consultancy, to join its practice in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves working on diverse consulting engagements that often address complex business problems requiring a combination of financial, commercial, operational, and strategic analysis. The position offers exposure to various industries, particularly energy, infrastructure, industrial, and engineering-intensive businesses.

The role focuses on understanding underlying business problems and developing structured, evidence-based solutions, rather than narrow specialization in financial modeling, research, or strategy. Consultants will work at the intersection of commercial, financial, operational, and technical considerations, with opportunities to collaborate with experienced consultants and interact with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing business plans, conducting feasibility studies, evaluating investment opportunities, and assessing commercial and financial viability of proposed ventures.
• Building and reviewing financial models, developing forecasts, evaluating alternative scenarios, and conducting investment appraisals.
• Undertaking market research, demand and supply analysis, competitor assessments, industry benchmarking, and value-chain analysis.
• Supporting the formulation of business strategies, evaluating growth opportunities, and translating strategic objectives into actionable business plans.
• Assessing operating models, organizational structures, business processes, policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analysing business and project performance, cost structures, operating efficiencies, and commercial arrangements.
• Preparing analytical reports, business cases, management presentations, and recommendations supported by quantitative and qualitative evidence.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, business advisory, transaction advisory, corporate strategy, financial advisory, or a comparable analytical role.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or a professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Prior exposure to energy, industrial, infrastructure, or capital-intensive businesses is an advantage.

Analytical and Technical Capabilities

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities, including proficiency in financial analysis and Excel-based financial modelling.
• Ability to undertake independent research, interpret information from multiple sources, and draw commercially meaningful conclusions.
• Understanding of fundamental business concepts, including financial statements, business models, cost structures, investment appraisal, and market dynamics.
• Ability to structure complex or unfamiliar problems into manageable analytical components.
• Proficiency in preparing professional reports and presentations, particularly using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is an added advantage.
