About the Opportunity

AIQU is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading industrial project in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This contract role requires a professional with a strong background in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, bringing 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Focus

The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and securing critical industrial infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring robust cybersecurity measures across various project phases, from engineering to operational startup, specifically within OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute OT cybersecurity implementation throughout engineering, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and startup phases.
• Configure and secure industrial control systems to meet project specifications and security standards.
• Perform system hardening, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Provide support for industrial network architecture and virtualization environments.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in Hardware/Software Commissioning.
• Demonstrated ability in Loop Checks, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Proficiency in Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of industrial systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of Industrial Network Security, Firewalls, VLANs, and Network Segmentation.
• Expertise in Windows Server Hardening and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 / Industrial Cybersecurity Standards is considered an advantage.

Preferred System Experience

• Experience with Emerson DeltaV is highly preferred.
• Experience with Honeywell Experion or ABB 800xA is also valued.
