EHS Specialist I

About the Role

Parker Hannifin is seeking an EHS Specialist I to implement, lead, and coordinate Quality, Lean/Continuous Improvement, and Health, Safety & Environment activities at its manufacturing site in Dammam. This regular position focuses on promoting a strong safety culture through visible presence, coaching, and proactive hazard recognition. The specialist will ensure compliance with local standards and regulatory requirements for quality and EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and quality management expertise.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures to ensure personnel safety.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations of work environments, processes, and operations in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain required permits, records, and reports to ensure audit and regulatory readiness.
• Support warranty monitoring and control by providing technical support and cost estimates for warranty actions.
• Monitor team performance regarding cost estimation for issue resolution.
• Implement EHS, Quality, and LEAN standards.
• Reduce workplace injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions through prevention-focused programs.
• Complete timely incident investigations and drive closure of corrective and preventative actions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation and reports for internal, external, or regulatory audits.

Qualifications and Experience

• Appropriate education meeting minimum requirements.
• Experience supporting or leading local legislative standards for manufacturing, internal and external audits, contractor management, permit-to-work systems, behavioral safety initiatives, and emergency preparedness and response.
• Proven ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement effective control measures.
• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
• Ability to develop and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, and operational procedures.
• Audit, inspection, and compliance monitoring capability.
• Experience with EHS systems.
