ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEER

About the Role

Napco National is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to assist and learn from senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, start-up, and testing of industrial facilities, equipment, and processes.

Role Overview

The Electrical/Mechanical Engineer will support project teams by overseeing daily work progress for assigned tasks and reporting findings. The scope of work covers all Napco Flexible Packaging affiliates within KSA and any future territories, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project objectives and deliverables as guided by senior management.
• Assist the project management team in developing project plans.
• Review existing materials and request necessary materials for efficient project execution, subject to Section Head approval.
• Coordinate with Lead Technicians and contractors to ensure projects are completed within established timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
• Report on project progress, team working hours, and attendance.
• Recommend plan adjustments to Lead Technicians to optimize project development, with Section Head approval.
• Implement safety and health requirements in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and directives.
• Perform installation of industrial machines and associated ancillary equipment.
• Execute and supervise electrical/mechanical work for industrial facilities, including medium voltage, low voltage, power distribution, cabling, electrical safety, and lighting.
• Perform and oversee the loading/unloading of industrial equipment for shipping, verify packing lists, inspect equipment, and report any damage for insurance claims.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and prepared for handover.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering role.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of industrial facilities, equipment, and processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, requiring travel to various Napco Flexible Packaging affiliates within KSA and potentially other territories.
