Elevator Troubleshooting Technician

About the Role

Bab Al Rida Technical Services is seeking an experienced Elevator Troubleshooting Technician to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in fault finding, breakdown repairs, and diagnosing both electrical and mechanical issues independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults in elevators.
• Attend elevator breakdowns, identify root causes of failures, and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot various elevator components including controllers, drives/VFDs, door systems, safety circuits, sensors, relays, and contactors.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and control circuits.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Perform testing, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of faulty components.
• Identify recurring faults and propose permanent solutions.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls as required, including after-duty hours.
• Ensure elevators operate safely and reliably post-repair.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and applicable elevator safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Work independently and provide technical support to junior technicians when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on elevator experience.
• Strong experience in elevator troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Proven capability to independently diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Experience with various elevator brands and controllers is highly preferred.
• GCC experience is preferred.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. Working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with requirements to attend call-backs after duty hours. The salary range for this role is SAR 1,875 - SAR 3,750.
