Tasks and Responsibilities:- Collecting and analyzing cost data related to raw materials, labor, and operating expenses.
- Monitoring and controlling production costs, waste, and variances across all production lines.
- Preparing cost reports and analyzing profitability periodically.
- Supporting budget preparation and forecasts related to production and inventory.
- Updating standard costs and analyzing actual variances.
- Collaborating with production and purchasing teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy of reports.
- Analyzing inventory valuation and suggesting improvements in its control.
- Ensuring compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
- Contributing to the closing of monthly and annual financial periods related to costs.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a cost accountant, preferably in an industrial or baked goods environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- High analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Accuracy in work and the ability to work independently.
