About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for Fixed Facilities to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position plays a crucial role in fostering a positive health and safety culture and managing occupational risks within the plant environment.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing occupational health and safety programs to prevent workplace accidents and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. The specialist will utilize advanced risk assessment techniques, conduct incident investigations, and continuously promote a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce occupational health and safety programs.
• Conduct advanced risk assessments and lead incident investigations as a certified investigator.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and process safety standards.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors effectively.
• Oversee the implementation and tracking of safety programs and initiatives to closure.
• Utilize HSE software for reporting and documentation.
• Maintain environmental compliance across all activities.
• Support activities such as packaging and assembling gas turbines and compressors, critical lifting and rigging operations, and pressure testing on equipment and systems.
• Carry out Bow-Tie risk assessments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, preferably within the oil and gas or power sectors.
• Familiarity with Rig Aramco HSE Requirements.
• A background and mindset in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering is required.
• NEBOSH certification is preferred.
