About the Role

FNRCO is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for supporting the implementation and maintenance of robust Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across various project sites.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure strict compliance with both local Saudi regulations and established company policies. The specialist will actively promote a strong safety culture within the workplace and implement measures designed to minimize potential risks, thereby contributing to a secure and healthy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards, and applicable international EHS requirements.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and EHS awareness training for all employees and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate EHS reports, inspection records, incident logs, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and emergency response planning.
• Collaborate with project teams to continuously improve overall health, safety, and environmental performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain EHS standards across diverse project environments.
• Proven track record of ensuring compliance with national and international EHS regulations.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a proactive approach to EHS management within dynamic project settings, involving regular interaction and collaboration with various project teams.
