Role Overview and Guest Experience

The F&B Service Expert plays a crucial role in creating a unique and memorable experience for guests. This involves taking initiative to offer a full range of services, from table setting and kitchen coordination to direct guest interaction and service. Every transaction is viewed as an integral part of the overall guest experience. Success in this role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe workspace, adhering to company guidelines and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional image through uniform, appearance, and communication.

Key Responsibilities and Physical Demands

This role involves continuous movement and a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Setting tables and interacting with the kitchen team.
• Serving guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Cleaning work and storage areas.
• Reviewing menus to ensure accurate information is conveyed.
• Performing tasks that require physical exertion, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Reaching high places, bending down, and performing movements that require bending knees, turning, stretching, and stooping.

The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking, sometimes on uneven or slippery surfaces. Performing these tasks effectively is fundamental to guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the hotel.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for the F&B Service Expert position must meet the following educational and experience requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
