Government Relations Junior Officer

About the Role

Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a Government Relations Junior Officer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the company's smooth operations and regulatory compliance through effective engagement with various government entities and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The Government Relations Junior Officer will manage and execute a range of tasks involving direct interaction with government departments and regulatory bodies. Core responsibilities include:

• Personally visiting the passport office to resolve and complete pending requests.
• Managing and conducting visits to Dammam Port for regulatory and operational matters.
• Managing and conducting related requirements for the Dammam yard.
• Visiting all embassies in Riyadh to handle documentation, visa processing, and other legal documents.
• Visiting government departments in Riyadh as needed for official tasks and compliance.

Government Platforms and Coordination

A significant aspect of this role involves utilizing various government digital platforms and coordinating with specific authorities to ensure efficient processing and compliance. This includes tasks related to:

• Muqeem Platform: Handling employee Iqama issuance/renewal, exit & re-entry visas, and visit visas.
• QIWA Platform: Managing all work visa applications.
• TGA Platform: Coordinating with Transportation Government Authorities for licensing and regulatory needs.
• TAMM Platform: Addressing traffic-related issues including vehicle registration, fines, and driver services.
• MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs): Processing attestations, visa applications, and all matters under MOFA.
• Ministry of Human Resources: Engaging with the Ministry for relevant matters.

Policy and Compliance Support

The officer will also contribute to maintaining the company's adherence to regulations and internal policies. This involves:

• Participating in creating and implementing programs that connect employees with business goals.
• Assisting in complying with all company policies and legal requirements.
• Involving in identifying specific work situations requiring changes in policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Diagnosing potential organizational problem areas.
• Observing how to manage and monitor all company government requirements.

Required Experience
